IES, a division of Education Development Center, Inc. works in 26 countries on education and social development programs. IES is a leader in the use of technology to address issues of access and quality in learning, but also carries out policy and planning and conducts conventional face-to-face training programs. IES is comprised of two centers, the Multichannel Learning Center, which focuses on the use of technology to deliver learning opportunities, and the Center for International Basic Education, which manages several basic education projects focused on systemic improvement on a large scale. |
